NAB Transact
NAB’s older online gateway — still supported, no longer the product NAB puts in front of new merchants.

NAB Transact was NAB’s online gateway for many years and a great many Australian websites still run on it. What has changed is where it sits: NAB’s ecommerce page now leads with NAB Gateway, and NAB Transact appears on it only in the support contacts and the terms documents.
NAB has not said publicly that it is closed, and this site does not record a status it cannot source. What a merchant can observe is that the bank is selling something else, which is usually the first signal that a platform has stopped being invested in.
If you are on it, the question worth asking NAB is not whether it still works — it does — but how long it will be supported, and what moving to NAB Gateway costs in development time.
What it costs
NAB does not publish gateway fees for NAB Transact. The merchant service fee is negotiated on your volume and card mix. Find out what yours should be.
