The Israeli self-service giant — vending and unattended payments, a management platform behind them, and a listing on Nasdaq.
About Nayax
Nayax was founded in Israel in 2005 and is listed on Nasdaq and in Tel Aviv under NYAX. It began in vending — putting a card reader on machines that had only ever taken coins — and has since spread into EV charging, car parks, laundromats, amusement and micro-markets.
What distinguishes it from the terminal manufacturers is that the hardware is not really the product. Nayax sells an operator platform — telemetry, remote price changes, loyalty, consumption reporting, cashless settlement — and the readers are how a machine joins it. An operator with two hundred machines is buying the back office, not the reader.
That also makes its range a different shape. Alongside the readers sit an OEM module for machine builders to embed, a QR scanner, and a full self-checkout kiosk — hardware a terminal manufacturer would not build.
