PAX A33
A compact Android PIN pad with a physical keypad, aimed at transport and unattended-adjacent use.
- Manufacturer
- PAX
- Form factor
- PIN pad
- Operating system
- PayDroid on Android 12
- Connectivity
- 4G optional, Wi-Fi 2.4 + 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0
The A33 keeps a physical keypad alongside the touchscreen, which still matters for accessibility and for anyone entering a PIN in gloves or in the rain.
At 176 x 90 x 88mm and 350g it is deeper than a handheld because it is built to be mounted rather than carried — PAX points it at transport.
What it costs
The rate you pay is negotiated on your volume and card mix, not set by the terminal — two businesses on the same A33 can be paying very different money. Find out what yours should be.
