The Aries 8 is a tablet-format terminal — 205.7 x 170.2 x 15.2mm, 708g, and 15mm thin. No printer at all, which tells you it is expected to sit inside a workflow that already prints somewhere else.
It runs PayDroid on Android 7.1, which is the oldest base in the PAX range listed in Australia. Worth asking how long it stays supported before committing a fleet to it.
What it costs
The rate you pay is negotiated on your volume and card mix, not set by the terminal — two businesses on the same Aries 8 can be paying very different money. Find out what yours should be.
