At 154 x 83 x 30mm and 251g the A8500 is closer to a thick phone than a traditional desktop terminal, which is the point: it takes very little counter space in a venue where counter space is the scarce thing.
The printer is optional rather than standard — fine for a business that emails receipts, a problem for one that does not. Gigabit Ethernet is unusual at this size.
What it costs
The rate you pay is negotiated on your volume and card mix, not set by the terminal — two businesses on the same A8500 can be paying very different money. Find out what yours should be.
