The UX700 is built for the places a terminal gets left alone — vending machines, public transport, parking kiosks. The environmental numbers are the specification: IP65, IK09, and an operating range from -30 to 70C, which is wider than anything else on this site except a bare OEM module.
It takes all three card types with PIN on a 5-inch 720 x 1280 touchscreen, and has two cameras — a 5MP at the top and a dedicated 2MP barcode scanner at the bottom, so loyalty and coupon scanning do not fight with the payment.
A Qualcomm QCM2290 quad-core A53 at 2GHz with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of flash on Android 13, certified to PCI PTS 7.x. The wired side is what an integrator cares about: Ethernet, MDB for vending, three USB host ports, a USB client, and two RS232 lines, all on a 9 to 43V DC supply.
It is 70 x 106.6 x 146mm and 583g.
What it costs
The rate you pay is negotiated on your volume and card mix, not set by the terminal — two businesses on the same UX700 can be paying very different money. Find out what yours should be.
