The Victa Portable Plus is the one to ask for if the fleet has to last. It is certified to PCI PTS 7, runs Android 13 and Verifone says it is ready for Android 16 — three things that together decide how many years a terminal can stay deployed before it has to be swapped.
The hardware is well ahead of the T650 generation it replaces: a Qualcomm SM6225 octa-core A73 at 2.4GHz with 8GB of RAM and 32GB of flash, against a quad-core A7 at 1.1GHz with 2GB. The screen is 6.7 inches at 720 x 1600, and the contactless sensors sit behind the display rather than above it, so the customer taps where they are already looking.
The battery is 5000mAh and Verifone quotes over twelve hours of continuous use. There is a 58mm thermal printer, NFC digital receipts, a 5MP front camera and a dedicated 2MP top scanner with a red aimer for barcodes.
It is 205 x 82 x 58mm and 456g, IK04 and IP52 — splash-resistant rather than weatherproof.
What it costs
The rate you pay is negotiated on your volume and card mix, not set by the terminal — two businesses on the same Victa Portable Plus can be paying very different money. Find out what yours should be.
