Castles payment terminals
24 models, and what each one is actually for. Castles does not sell to merchants directly — which provider puts the terminal in front of you decides what you pay for it.
Portable
S1F3
A 5.5-inch Android portable with a 100mm/sec printer and an ATEX certification — the only Castles handheld rated for an explosive atmosphere.

Countertop

The S1F3 rebuilt for the counter — same 5.5-inch screen and Android 12, with Ethernet, RS232 and a snap-in paper roll.

Portable
S1F4
The base of the S1F4 family — Android 13, a 5.5-inch screen, a printer and a Magic Box accessory for wired ports.

Portable
S1F4 MAX DUO
The MAX with a second screen on the back — a 1.9-inch customer display for QR payment and confirmation.

Portable
S1F4 PRO
The only Castles portable on PCI PTS 7.x — an A73 octa-core, up to 8GB of RAM and a 6.745-inch screen.

Countertop
S1F4CT
The countertop S1F4 — a 6.745-inch screen on a fixed base, with Ethernet and a snap-in paper roll.

Portable
S1F4K
The S1F4 with a real keypad — fifteen backlit physical keys under a 5-inch screen, for fast entry and for customers who need to feel the buttons.

Handheld
S1MINI2
A pocket Android terminal — 160g, 20mm thick, contactless and chip with PIN on the screen, built for taxis and delivery rather than a counter.

Handheld
S1E2-L
A printerless Android handheld with a 6000mAh battery — built for stadiums, events and anywhere a shift outlasts a normal terminal.

PIN pad
S1P
An Android PIN pad with a 4-inch touchscreen and a physical keypad — the customer-facing half of a till that is already doing the selling.

PIN pad
S1P2
A slim Android PIN pad on Android 13 — thirteen large backlit keys, 23mm thick, IP53, with wired ports through a Magic Box.

PIN pad
S1P2-PLUS
The S1P2 certified to PCI PTS 7.x — same body and keypad, newer certification, crystal keycaps.

Countertop
N1-22
A 22-inch Android all-in-one POS — a full till that also takes the payment, usable staff-facing or as a self-checkout.

PIN pad
S2L
A multilane customer-facing terminal — an 8-inch screen with room for promotions beside the amount, and a 15-key physical PIN pad.

Portable
S2T
An 8 or 11-inch Android tablet POS with the card readers built in — one device instead of a tablet plus a terminal.

A compact unattended module on Android 13 Go — 2.8-inch screen, IP65, with the serial and MDB ports moved out to an external hub.

Vending machines

The vending-machine module — a 3.5-inch 700-nit screen, a proximity sensor, magstripe as well as chip and contactless, IP65.

EV charging, vending, ticketing, kiosks
S1U2-M4
The rugged one — a 4-inch 1000-nit screen rated from -30 to +80C, IP65 and IK10, for EV charging and outdoor kiosks.

Vending, ticketing, transport, laundromats
UPT1000F-C
The older Linux unattended terminal — contactless only, 3.5-inch touchscreen, MDB, PIN on touch, IP65 and IK10.

Countertop
V1C
A Linux countertop terminal with a printer and a 15-key keypad — no Android, no app store, and nothing to go wrong.

Portable
V1M
The portable Vega — Linux, a printer, a backlit keypad and a 2450mAh battery, for merchants who do not want a smart terminal.

PIN pad
V1P 3.5
A wired Linux PIN pad — 220g, a 3.5-inch screen, fifteen backlit keys, and no radio of any kind.

What these cost
Castles publishes no merchant pricing, and in Australia a merchant does not buy the hardware outright in most cases — it comes with a facility. What you pay depends on the rate you negotiate with the provider, not on the terminal.
