The V1C is the counter terminal for a merchant who wants a payment device and nothing else. It runs secure Linux on a 32-bit processor with 4GB of flash, has a 3.5-inch colour screen and fifteen backlit keys, and prints at 90mm a second on a 50mm roll.
The port list includes dial-up alongside Ethernet, 4G and Wi-Fi, which is not an oversight — there are still sites in Australia where a phone line is the only reliable path.
It is 185 x 75 x 84mm and 332g, PCI PTS 6.x, two SIM and two SAM slots with eSIM optional, running on a 9V 3A adapter.
What it costs
The rate you pay is negotiated on your volume and card mix, not set by the terminal — two businesses on the same V1C can be paying very different money. Find out what yours should be.
