The S1U2-M4 is specified for the places the others are not. Operating temperature runs -30 to +80C, the display is 1000 nits so it stays readable in direct sun, and protection is IP65 with IK10 against impact. For an EV charger on an exposed forecourt that combination is the specification sheet, not a nice-to-have.
It takes all three card types with HID as an option, on a 4-inch 480 x 800 display, driven by a quad-core A53 at 2.0GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash on Android 13. MDB is standard here.
It is 130 x 95 x 51mm and 425g, PCI PTS 7.x, input 9 to 48V.
What it costs
The rate you pay is negotiated on your volume and card mix, not set by the terminal — two businesses on the same S1U2-M4 can be paying very different money. Find out what yours should be.
