Almost every Android terminal has moved PIN entry onto the glass. The S1F4K has not: it keeps a 15-key backlit physical keyboard below a 5-inch HD+ touchscreen. For high-frequency manual entry, and for a customer who cannot reliably use a touchscreen, that is the whole reason to specify it.
Underneath it is a quad-core A53 at 2.0GHz with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of flash rising to 32GB, Android 13, PCI PTS 6.x. All three card readers, a 2MP front camera and a 5MP rear camera as an option.
It is 220 x 80 x 56mm and 490g — the heaviest portable in the range, which is what a physical keypad costs. The battery is 2550mAh with 3350mAh optional.
What it costs
The rate you pay is negotiated on your volume and card mix, not set by the terminal — two businesses on the same S1F4K can be paying very different money. Find out what yours should be.
