The V1M is the V1C off the mains: the same secure Linux platform and 3.5-inch screen in a portable body with a 2450mAh battery. An ARM Cortex-A5 at 1.2GHz, 4GB of flash and 128MB of RAM, 512MB optional.
Fifteen backlit keys, all three card readers, a 90mm/sec printer on a 58mm roll, and an optional 2MP rear camera for barcodes. There is no Android here and no app store, which for a cafe or a tradesman taking a few hundred transactions a week is a feature rather than a limitation.
It is 170 x 73 x 62mm and 345g, PCI PTS 6.x, with two SIM and two SAM slots and eSIM optional.
What it costs
The rate you pay is negotiated on your volume and card mix, not set by the terminal — two businesses on the same V1M can be paying very different money. Find out what yours should be.
