The S1U2-M3F is the one aimed at vending machines. It has a larger 3.5-inch display at 700 nits, which is bright enough to read in a shopfront window, and a proximity sensor so it wakes as somebody approaches rather than running the screen all day.
It takes all three card types, unlike the M2D beside it, with a quad-core A53 at 2.0GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash on Android 13 Go. MDB is an option rather than standard.
It is 106 x 85 x 66mm and 395g, IP65 and IK09, rated -20 to +70C, PCI PTS 7.x. Input is 9 to 48V.
What it costs
The rate you pay is negotiated on your volume and card mix, not set by the terminal — two businesses on the same S1U2-M3F can be paying very different money. Find out what yours should be.
