The S1MINI2 is the smallest device Castles builds: 118 x 64.8 x 20.43mm and 160g, which is a large phone rather than a terminal. It takes chip and contactless, with PIN entry on a 3.97-inch touchscreen, and has no magstripe reader.
It is aimed squarely at merchants who move — taxis, delivery drivers, market stalls, mobile trades — where a printer and a counter-sized body are dead weight. A 2000mAh battery and a 0.3MP front camera for QR codes.
A quad-core A53 at 2.0GHz with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of flash, 32GB optional, on Android 13. PCI PTS 6.x, one SIM with eSIM optional, one SAM.
What it costs
The rate you pay is negotiated on your volume and card mix, not set by the terminal — two businesses on the same S1MINI2 can be paying very different money. Find out what yours should be.
